Why Do So Many Entrepreneurs Think Their Ideas Are Worth Billions?

When I started my company, I believed we were going to win. There was no doubt in my mind.

When 63 VCs passed on us, and there was only one VC left as a possible investor, I believed we were going to win. There was no doubt in my mind.

When revenue wasn’t going as planned, and one of our investors was getting impatient, I believed we were going to win. There was no doubt in my mind.

When we had no money in the bank and we were on the verge of missing payroll, I believed we were going to win. There was no doubt in my mind.

When I had to get down on my hands and knees every week and beg our investors for more money, I believed we were going to win. There was no doubt in my mind.

The reality is to be an entrepreneur you have to believe your ideas are going to succeed. You don’t really have a choice.

There are so many obstacles that stand between yourself and success. If you don’t believe. If you don’t have grit, well it’s going to be very hard to succeed.
